RACC Lab Member Michelle Rodriguez Gets Selected As a Omicron Delta Kappa Freshman! 

March 2023

Congratulations to Michelle! The Omicron Delta Kappa is an honor society that seeks to recognize those who have attained a high standard of efficiency in five areas of collegiate activities (Scholarship; Athletics; Campus or Community Service, Social, and Religious Activities, and Campus Government; Journalism, Speech, and the Mass Media; the Creative and Performing Arts) and to inspire others to strive for conspicuous attainment along similar lines. Only 10 Freshman are selected. Keep up the great work Michelle! 

RACC Lab Members Get Accepted!

Congratulations to our lab members, Aziz Baig, Eduardo Figueroa,  Ayushi Sarkar, and Asya Loeb for all getting accepted into wonderful programs! Aziz and Asya have been admitted to the University of Maryland's Master's program in Clinical Psychological Sciences, Eduardo has been selected to be a McNair Scholar, and Ayushi has been admitted to programs for School Psychology!

Congratulations to our former graduate research assistants, Simon Wright and Bunmi Odubayo, on completing the Master's program in Clinical Psychological Sciences at the University of Maryland! Bunmi will be starting her new position as a project research manager at Children's Hospital at Philadephia and Simon is applying to PhD programs in Counseling Psychology. We are going to miss you guys and wish you all the best!

Undergraduate RACC Lab Members Win Research Award

Congratulations to RACC Lab members Juliette Caban and Ayushi Sarkar on winning the Dr. Dennis F. Marion Undergraduate Research Award for their research project titled  Negative Life Events and Parent-Child Relationship Quality: Influence of Cultural Values and Mental Health in Latinx College Students.  Great job Ayushi and Juliette!

RACC Lab Member Alyssa Lucero Graduates from the University of Maryland!

Congratulations to RACC Lab Member Alyssa Lucero for graduating from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Psychology and Biology. Alyssa will continue on into graduate school, as she was offered a full scholarship to the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program. We will miss her presence in the lab. Congrats Alyssa!

RACC Lab Member Simon Wright Wraps Up Basketball Career

Congratulations to Simon on an excellent basketball career. Simon played 4 years of basketball at Elon University, and finished up his 5th year of college basketball this year with the Maryland Terrapins! Happy Retirement Simon!
